What an awesome day!!!
Thank you to everyone who put in the work to make today happen! And to everyone who came to support our event, it was so nice to greet so many wonderful people entering the speedpark! Absolutely amazing turnout!!! With that said, check out our winners below!
1st Place
Western Speedpark is proud to present Barry, Cass, Chloe and Lily Lambert, Lewisporte NL, with our first place 2021 burnout competition award!
This manual transmission, front engine-rear drive, turbocharged – Chevrolet LS based GRAND CARAVAN (featured on the StationRoadRatRods YouTube channel) absolutely wowed the crowd. From the owner/builder’s determination, creativity and quality of work it was clear this absolute weapon of a van was no joke. From the green flag, it was a real show. How many RPM?! ALL OF THEM: literally THE ENTIRE TIME. Heard of no-lift-shifting? This was a full on no-lift-event for this creation. Ending in a tire blowout AND ENGINEBAY FIRE (big shoutout to Stephenville Fire Depot for looking after this), The shattering roar of the crowd was likely heard from neighbouring communities.
Hats off from Western Speedpark for the work you’ve accomplished and truly setting an example of any build being possible, we couldn’t be happier to congratulate you on what you have accomplished and present you with our 2021 first place award.

This 2016 Silverado 1500 had tire smoke like something from a movie!! The truck blew BOTH REAR TIRES at the same time?!

3rd Place
Western Speedparks very own Matthew Rice, Kippens NL, grabbed a well deserved 3rd place 2021 Western Speedpark burnout competition award!
In his legendary 1986 Mazda RX-7 , this burnout was refined, balanced and WILD! Driver control was second to none with the show he presented to our judges and audience!
